Psalms Chapter 24, Verses 36-53

Apparition of Jesus to His disciples and last words:

After women and the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, the time has come for the risen Jesus to come to all those among the group of His followers, have not yet seen. Because it is the cornerstone of future testimony delivered to his person as the true Christ sent from God for the salvation of the world, it is necessary that the fact of the resurrection of Jesus is not the certainty of some but that of everyone. However, it can not become the unanimous testimony of all only one condition: that all those who from the beginning, are followers of Jesus, see and observe for themselves the validity the report is already by some on this. Introducing the fundamentals of the gospel, Paul said later: the Gospel is the good news that proves Jesus is the Christ sent from God, died for our sins according to the Scriptures, then rose again the third day according to the Scriptures , resurrection attested by all those who in their time, and saw Him who represent a group of at least 500 people at once: 1 Cor 15.3-4 . The will of an applicant lidité, according to the Bible, the testimony at least two or three people: Deut 19.15 , we can say with confidence, that because of the large number of witnesses who can attest, the resurrection of Jesus is one of the most reliable history.

The certainty of the resurrection of Jesus, which will build all future preaching of the apostles: Acts 2,24.32, 3.15; 4.10; 17.31 ... is more a miracle that we see here, she had to enter their hearts, first drill a thick layer of disbelief. Despite his sudden appearance in the room where they were, it will not provide that Jesus least two additional evidence for last the disciples, in their majority, make the obvious and believe: the mark of the feet and hands pierced: see John 20.27, and the fact that Jesus ate their eyes grilled fish. What will the disciples were ready to preach a message which will appear foolish in the eyes of the world is that God will have, first, convince them that God's foolishness is wiser than the wisdom of the world: 1 Cor 1.18 and 25, a madness for which, for many of them, they will leave their lives.

The certainty of the resurrection established in the hearts and confirmed by Jesus, as He did with the pilgrims to Emmaus, by the Word and the Spirit, the means by which He does for us, it only remains for the Lord to give His final instructions for the adventure that awaits them now. Because, by implication, Jesus gives them a new mission statement! If in the past, the geographic circle in which the disciples were to be His witness was limited to Israel Mat 10.6 , as is the case today! It is now to all nations that the disciples are called to go. Despite the magnitude of the task revealed the first instruction given by Jesus, however, will wait. The work of God can be only one way: not by human power but by God's. Before you go, preach, fight, then one day, to die for Christ, the disciples must be first equipped, clothed with power from on high! Any attempt to do anything before that could only lead to failure!

The instructions given, the time has come for Jesus, waiting for His promised return, to part with his beloved. As a result of the resurrection, the ascension of Jesus, which led him to discover the whereabouts and the glory that He has left the time of His incarnation: Jean 17.5 , an event will be seen and experienced by all. The rise and disappearance of Jesus in the clouds, marks the end point of the human epic of the Son of God. But, unlike all other men, where usually ends our story in the world, there truly begin Siena!

Bruise Feeling Headavhe

Chapter 24, Verses 13-35

Jesus makes himself known to two disciples

While women, present at the tomb early in the morning, are already in post drama regarding Jesus, the disciples, yet aware of what they saw and of course, remain where the last time they saw their Master. In their hearts, Jesus died and no new spoken by anyone, so extraordinary it is, has the power to remove from their hearts and their minds the weight of disappointment. It is in this spirit that, from Jerusalem to the village of Emmaus, two of them made the meeting that changed everything.

Then they talked together in this way for several days now fully occupied their thoughts, Jesus came to travel with them. The two disciples greeted the problem without new companion that "randomly" placed in their way, without realizing who was walking there with them. We do not know why the disciples did not recognize their master immediately. It is likely however that absorbed their spirit was so intense that it prevented them from accurately interpret reality that was around them. Although organs made to make us able to see, this is not our eyes, but the spirit, and light or the darkness that inhabit it, that determine what we can or can not perceive the reality: Luke 11.34.

Playing the ignorant, Jesus left with His two disciples tell their version and their perceived his own story. Learn from him here on the need to let him speak and listen to everyone on our path, God sends us to share the suffering, disappointment and disillusionment that marked their lives. Still, in all circumstances, it is a necessity, listening must precede the word. It is impossible to open the way to a new understanding of his situation to a person in distress, if we do not let through and speak in full on that in his view, constitutes causes.

Having told Jesus their disappointment and perplexity in which the additional evidence reported by women had made, The latter took his turn to speak. Placing them on the ground of the Word, the only sound basis for interpreting the right way all we live in, Jesus undertook in the time allotted, to thoroughly revisit the Scriptures so that through this new light, the disciples see the logic of what had happened to his subject. What disturbs us most, indeed, in disarray in which we can plunge our experience, are not events in themselves, but their apparent inconsistency, the inconsistency in which they immerse us in terms of design we had previously of God and reality. Let us know it: as the link between the things we live and God is lost, it is impossible for us to find peace and live in a dynamic of joy; by cons, when it is found, the two feelings come back with him. To be effective, the role of spiritual advisor is, like that of Jesus here, always the same: From the Word to find it in the lights to interpret rightly before God and lived. The light brought the situation certainly has not changed, but the pain it has caused itself disappears.

Enlightened by Jesus, the disciples' eyes will soon recognize him. A single gesture, this time, they simply need to, with certainty, they know now, yes it's true, He is risen indeed! It is before their eyes in their hearts that, however, by the fire that the words of their Master has turned the conviction was made. Few of us now and in this world have the privilege of seeing Jesus in their own eyes. This does not work with him. His Spirit and His Word are we able to make the present more than if he was now physically next to us! Paul says: we know Christ in a different way than those who knew him in the flesh, 2 Cor 5.14 . But because that knowledge is internal, hidden deep within our being we know Him better!

Enlightened, convinced the disciples no longer need to continue to Emmaus. Despite the declining day, they turn back and go to Jerusalem. A new, like they just learned, can be contained. We must share it to everyone in the drama that Jesus continues to obscure the heart and mind. With them, in our time, Jesus will make us His witnesses! Let us be convinced: only the personal knowledge of the risen Jesus has the power to change personal vision of everyone in the world!

Compustar Remote Starter Reset

Chapter 24, Verses 1-12

's tomb found empty

Latest among the followers of Jesus to follow him to the grave, women will be the first to hear and make the finding their own eyes, the good news of His resurrection. If the man Jesus was indeed crucified, after He died and then placed in the tomb is in the Lord that henceforth he will speak to him. Luke, for the first time does here, sending in advance the truth expressed Paul later that it is through the major fact of the resurrection of the identity of Jesus the Son of God is established with power: 1.4 Rom.

Although a surprise to women who, early in the morning, had come to embalm the body of Jesus, everything happens as though he had said and announced. The angels sent by God in the empty tomb to talk to ladies not to say anything other than what Jesus Himself had told them about the route that would be His. The earlier remarks of Jesus, hitherto ignored or misunderstood, flashed then. "Yes! Indeed, Jesus had: He would not remain in the grave. He even said when His resurrection from the dead happen: the third day: Luke 18.32 to 33. Had we understood, or if we had chosen his words, we would not come this morning to embalm the dead, but celebrate the living as the mean angels! "What women do not feel guilty too for not believing. Side of the eleven which, however, walked with him for nearly three years and, for some, had the privilege to see the transfiguration: Luke 9 , 28-36 , disbelief is even stronger. Not only hearing the good news reported to them by women, they do not make the connection with what they heard from the lips of Jesus, but with all the contempt that a man may sometimes have a woman, they do not believe. Their words are just fabrications and nonsense!

He has more yet to God and to want it. Last to follow their Lord, but also last in the order believes that the disciples were for the followers of Jesus, they will be the first to hear, believe and know. The precedence of men over women reminds us that Jesus does not rule. Before God now, only the provisions of heart count. Faith, revelation and love (which to a large extent, also involves humility) now operate in concert. God gives us to remember this!

The incredulity of the disciples also reminds us of the futility of speech heard without faith! It is possible that, like them, we have already heard many times of great truths we be saying. So far, however, they remained a dead letter in our hearts. We have, of course, but we did not understand. The power of spoken words had no effect on us: we are the same after hearing them before. Only a personal encounter with Jesus can change this fact. Alone by His Spirit, has the power to give life to the spoken word. Because it is Himself who tells us, then we know! And when we know, we believe, although, again, we have not seen! God gives us to be in a state of receptivity as He finds us ready for every word that comes from Him!

T-mobile Call Center In Idaho

Chapter 23, Verses 50-56

Entombment of Jesus

If there are some prophecies about the Messiah, Jesus could accomplish on its own initiative, as does entering Jerusalem on the back of a donkey: Luke 19.28-31 Zechariah 9.9 , there are others for which, however, he could have no part. The event that occurs here is one of the best examples. Consider God, not willing that nobody is mistaken about the identity of His envoy, took care of details. It is in the prophecies about the Messiah or esoteric or ambiguity: Ads are precise, detailed, built on easily verifiable facts. Thus it is said of Him, He would not only die for the sins of the world: 53.5 Isaiah, but also that, after being among the criminals, his tomb is with that of the rich: Isaiah 53.9 . Joseph, from Arimathea, is said by whom this prophecy fulfilled.

The reliability of biblical prophecy is especially notable that, far from it, Joseph was not initially a follower of the faith in Jesus as Messiah. It was same, "said Luke, a member of the Sanhedrin, the Jewish court for Religious Affairs, who condemned Jesus. Only little by little, it seems, that work became increasingly convinced in his heart. Also, at the decisive moment, Joseph he refused to join his vote to those who decided the death sentence of Jesus. Already, the Holy Spirit worked his heart to be at the right time, through whom the prophecy on the entombment of Christ is true!

It is strange to see how that encounter with Christ leads us to abandon is diverse. If, for Peter, Andre, Jacques and John, it was the family business for Joseph, it will be his tomb. We do not know why Joseph did carve out a burial chamber in the rock. Was it for fame and future posterity his name? It's a safe bet! Joseph had reason to give up for Christ. By renouncing the project by which he would build his own posthumous fame, he allowed God to give him one that undoubtedly exceed all expectations. Because even today there are thousands to visit the presumed location of the tomb of Christ which, forever linked the name of Joseph of Arimathea. That gives us his example of never fear of losing anything for Jesus! Him losing something here, it always eventually find it a hundredfold in the Kingdom!

Although Jesus People, the burial will be almost on the sly. Only a few women among the relatives will attend. Undeniably, their attachment to His person exceeds that of men. While these, following the arrest of Jesus in Gethsemane, fled, women remain the tenuous connection between Jesus and who live among His disciples, those who continue to follow him even if, humanly, he n 'are more reasons to do so. Soon they will see: their loyalty and perseverance will pay! As Joseph of Arimathea, they will be rewarded beyond anything they could imagine!

How To Stop Breakthrough Bleeding

Chapter 23, Verses 44-49

Jesus' death

Unlike the application of religious leaders and one of the robbers, Jesus will not descend from the cross, but he died there. The signs demanded by opponents and mockers will not be accomplished. However, far from it, God the Father will not let His Son dying and expiate the sins of the world unbranded visible evidence of His identification with His people. As the Father was present in a visible and audible on the coming of the Son in His public ministry: Luke 3.21 to 22, it is also when it was released. Instead and in place of a dove and a voice audible, Luke tells us about two supernatural events marking the moments that followed saw the agony of the death of Jesus, Son of God:

1. An eclipse of the sun lasting for three hours across the country (or land). That night when God plunged the world into daylight speaks of the darkest hours of history of Humanity: Luke 22.53. It was the year in which the soul of the Son, in constant communion with the Father, was because of sin, separated from him and overwhelmed by death and darkness. Nothing better captures the loneliness felt that the Son of God at that moment that the cry which tore the immensity of his distress: "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? "Mat 27.46. Death in the soul of Jesus, the darkness that covered the Earth are also the testimony of the Father and the mourning of all creation to the death of the Son.

2. The second fact is the direct consequence of the first. The Son of God who bore our sins, nothing now does bar access to the sinner holy presence of God and bright: cf Heb 10.19 to 22, God demonstrated by the fact that even as Son expires and darkness covers the earth, the veil in the temple that separated the Holy Place of the Most Holy Place was torn in the middle. That opponents of Jesus to know now: It was indeed the Messiah of God, the one by which forgiveness and reconciliation are possible with Him!

The effects of the perfect work of redemption accomplished by Christ are soon to be felt. The Roman centurion, who led Jesus to the torture and asssité the events surrounding His death will be the first to say: this man was not guilty, he was right. According to Matthew, his confession will go even further. "Certainly," he says, this man is the Son of God! : Matthew 27.54 . "The crowd was in limbo is no longer. She left, striking the chest. She knows it too: religious leaders have been mistaken. It is not performance that she had attended, but a crime, and the greatest of all: the murder of the Son of God!

North Face Embroidered

Chapter 23, Verses 33-43

Jesus crucified

is a place called the Skull of Jesus as walking, leaving Jerusalem in charge of His cross, stopped. For the last time here, His feet trod the soil and the land of Palestine. The time when Jesus was going from place to place, doing good and healing all who were under the influence of the devil: Acts 10.38, is now behind him. After his race is a dead end and bottom of the impasse a cross. That, apparently, and the thing is present and perceived by all those who until the end, disputes the claims of Jesus the Messiah. Three days later, it will be another story ...

In the utter simplicity and leaner, Luke mentions the crucifixion of Jesus and two criminals on the top of the hill. If Jesus is no longer capable of moving the hearts around him are far from peaceful. Raised on the cross, Jesus can not act. But he can see, hear and even speak and pray. And what he sees, hears and says we reported here:

1. what Jesus sees: a large crowd waited. It is relatively easy to manipulate a crowd and to drive it, as have religious leaders, in a fit of mindless violence point: Luke 23.16. But just when the crowd asked: Have we got it right? Not knowing where it stands, the crowd looks: what will happen, hopefully she will tell him if it was right or wrong to ask the condemnation of Jesus.

2. those that Jesus sees and hears : They are mocking her, religious leaders and soldiers. All hold the same thing: if Jesus was what He claims to be, he was proving himself now pulling himself from this predicament in which it is located. Clearly, those who deride did not understand the decision of what is happening here. If Jesus saved Himself, He could save others before God. Jesus must die! It is our thought when, against his interest, he chose to remain on the cross rather than to descend

3. those to whom Jesus speaks. They are two. The first is His Father He asked who to forgive those who caused him this so very wrong, citing as the reason for the pardon their ignorance and blindness. The second is one of the criminals who, in the opposite direction of his companion in misfortune, who marries the words of the mockers who were at his feet, does not require the issuance of his situation but appealed to the mercy of Jesus to ask thanks for sharing with Him His future reign. Jesus assures him. He has no fear to have. Her request will be answered. Even today, he will be with Him in the paradise of God.

It may be that we, too, though in any situation otherwise, we are facing, like Jesus in our ministry to strong demands from people who, they say, want to see the action of God in their lives in one form or another. If God does this or that issue, if involved in a particular way, then they say they believe. The silence of Jesus in this type of request reminds us that it passes through the cross that the manifestation of the power of God's salvation. The refusal of the cross is the refusal of the place from which all the power of resurrection and life of God unfolds! Following the example of the thief saved, God gives us the look, not for what matters here and now but for eternity!

Disk Golf Bags Beer Cooler

Chapter 23, Verses 26-32

Jesus on the way to His crucifixion

Jesus's fate sealed by the cowardly decision of Pilate, He was taken by the Roman soldiery to where it should be crucified. Note that by asking his death to Pilate, the Jewish leaders knew full well what kind of end they betray him. If they had kept demand a trial against Jesus, he would have been possible in their defense, to stress their willingness to use justice as a point of difference that opposed him. But this is not the case. By their attitude and insistence, clearly stated, to see Pilate ordered the crucifixion of Jesus is not the pursuit of justice, but their hatred of Christ that the chief priests and leaders express. "Men," said Blaise Pascal, never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do their religious belief. "See Jewish spiritual leaders of the nation demand a hue and cry that is inflicted upon one who by far is better than them, but the embarrassment, the way to the most refined torture that has been invented by the Romans, is the most demonstrative proof!

On the road that leads Jesus to the cross, Luke identifies three well-known facts:

1. Requisition of Simon of Cyrene, an African, to carry the cross with Jesus and behind. Without putting in place of a prophecy, this division of the cross between Jesus and Simon is highly significant for what would happen between Jesus and many Africans in the rest of the story. If there is a race which, like that Jesus lives here, will be abused, enslaved, despised and considered as less than nothing, it is unquestionably the black race, dominant in Africa. If blacks have shared the fate of Jesus in history, they are also those who may be best tasted the consolations that come from experience to carry the cross with Him, and be both identified him and behind him! Their gospels, in which shine their aspirations, which are sung today millions of Christians, are living witnesses!

2. an exchange of words between the daughters of Jerusalem and Jesus. Seeing the women who were on the roadside lamenting Him Jesus corrected their views. Between him and them, made them understand it, the worse off is not Him. What awaits Jesus, of course, is terrible and indescribable. But what awaits women of the city, while she had the opportunity, denied the peace that God gave him: Luke 19.41 to 44, will have for themselves and the generations that will succeed them a serious and painful range! Following the story, which will destroy the city and nation and the dispersion of Jews outside their countries for almost 19 centuries, is striking proof of Jesus' words.

3. adding His alongside two criminals on the road to the cross: a company which is the literal fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah says about the fate of the coming Messiah, the Suffering Servant being numbered with the transgressors: Isaiah 53.12 .

In view of the stage, the question arises for all of us! Where would we found, among which the public path that leads Jesus to the cross?

Sun America Variance Annuity

Chapter 23, Verses 13-25

makers of the death of Jesus

Far from producing the desired result by the religious authorities of the nation, the passage of Jesus from Pilate and Herod did nothing but highlight the false motives of these in the trial that He is doing. Jesus said to Pilate and Herod concert is totally innocent of the things he is accused. It is found in Him nothing worthy of any sentence, much less a death sentence. So, are found guilty, not the accused but the accusers.

If need one in history, the conviction that ultimately will bail Jesus is the epitome of character so easily corruptible human justice. All items are gathered here for Jesus to be acquitted. The judge, the ultimate decision maker is convinced of his innocence. He said and attested by at least three times: the file to load is empty. He found nothing to hold against Jesus. According to justice, there is an option to enter the folder Jesus: a non-suit and his unconditional release. Under the pressure of numbers, and because of the obvious political interest in it derives from the meaning intended by the Jewish authorities and Pilate, against his inner conviction, decide against Jesus. The rest of the story unfortunately show that the decision will not benefit anyone. A generation later, the authority of Rome, forced under pressure to condemn Jewish Jesus, take Jerusalem in the blood and deport its inhabitants. The political power compelled by religion will eventually turn against him, as will be elsewhere and in France during the Revolution, together after the king and the clergy have organized the massacre of St. Bartholomew. The bonds of alliance between the enemies of Jesus, unlike those who forge relationship His friends do not stand the test of time.

The Roman custom wishing that every Passover the governor released a prisoner, he asked the crowd: Mat 27.15 include how to finally gain the Jewish authorities plead the condemnation of Jesus. "You denied the Holy, the Just, Peter will tell them later, and you asked that you be given the grace of a Murderer: Proceedings 3.14 " Barabbas (which means son of the father). Behind the reprehensible nature of the fact is revealed to us the beauty of the incomprehensible grace of God. Because, at the bottom of ourselves, we are all Barabbas, son of the Father fallen, the nature of the killer par excellence, the devil Jean 8.44. And we all have within our grasp the possibility of our acquittal face the justice of God and of our release for one reason: the death of the One Father's Son, Jesus, for us! It is on the dark background of the worst crimes that shines in his finest bursts, the jewel of the grace of God, the highest expression of His love for us!

Twister Game Board Fabric

Chapter 23, Verses 8-12

Jesus before Herod

After Pilate, the provisions of the heart of Herod to Jesus may seem a priori more favorable to him. The reputation of Jesus no longer to Herod, out of curiosity, thought it would be interesting to know this strange man who caused so much turmoil and controversy among the Jewish people. He therefore welcomed the opportunity he was given a personal encounter with Jesus as an opportunity to judge for himself what might be called today a social phenomenon.

Herod's disappointment was up to his expectations. Like Pilate, he experienced in another domain that embodies Jesus is not within the categories by which men like to classify their peers. Just as Jesus is not a king like other kings of this world, it is not a freak, an animal show, a sort of super magician or miracle worker. The miracles that Jesus did and that was the basis of this that shaped his public notoriety, had not intended to seduce men to win them to Him. They were the Gospels show, the telltale signs of what he was. They were both carrying a message, the event concrete for the truth of what Jesus claimed to be, and how God used to embody the grace and love that He wanted us to share with His Son at the point where our senses can perceive them: 1 John 1.1 - 2 . Herod's desire to see Jesus working a miracle before his eyes can not reach these goals, the potentate will, despite its large, private.

Besides this, the refusal of Jesus to meet the expectations of Herod has lessons for us. While facing Pilate, His trial bothered him, he was quite prolific, Jesus apparently Herod face that seems open and well disposed towards him, the opposite of what is needed. Jesus' attitude seems almost suicidal: firstly, it does nothing to address the charges relative to Pilate that He is the object, on the other hand, he chose deliberately to deceive Herod, who manifested His attitude toward receptive. How we learn here about the freedom of Jesus. This freedom has one source: the total allegiance, unique, exclusive of the Son to the Father, Allegiance, which alone shows Jesus, enables him to remain faithful in this world that embodies the truth without any pressure, even at the sacrifice of our lives, can lead us to compromise. As He has been all his life, Jesus showed, at the most difficult, exemplary in his conduct. Let us know it: the two realities are not one without the other. We can show resistance to seduction under pressure if, in everyday life, without pressure, we choose constant fidelity to the truth of what is in God. ! God in us forge a consistent personality that he seeks to build through multiple tests to which it exposes us!

Maintenance of Jesus with Herod ends so curious. They were enemies, Pilate and Herod became friends. Friendship, it is building on good causes or not, is always made of the same ingredient: the revelation of a similarity of views or a convergence of interests that brings. This sudden approximation of Herod and Pilate, after their personal encounter with Jesus is speaking. It reflects the fact that anything that we have the position regarding Jesus, the confrontation with him inevitably move the lines. Jesus always brings each other: those who choose to be His enemies become friends, those who choose to be His friends are no longer enemies. Blessed be God for the great family of friends of Jesus!

Complaints About Secure Smile Teeth

Chapter 23, Verses 1-7

Jesus before Pilate

If, within the mandate that the Apostle Paul received the day of his conversion, he is from the outset, mention of his future appearance before kings to witness Christ: Acts 9.15 , it will not be the first to experience it. Jesus before him, will be conducted before the authorities to prove that He is and will be judged accordingly event. If all the disciples are not called to go through this path, all according to Jesus, must design the event: Marc 13.9 . Because it deals primarily affect the claims of religious power, inevitably bounce or its ability to influence the testimony of Christ upsets the established order and key areas of competence of the civil power.

The condemnation of Jesus pronounced by the council, it decided to take him to Pilate, the only authority able to pronounce the final sentence about Him. Three counts, presented as an affect the authority of Rome, were presented to Jesus by Pilate against representatives of the Jewish Sanhedrin. No doubt there have been throughout history many trials that were the result of assemblies and arrangements against nature. Jesus surpasses that of incongruity in the unimaginable: clamped by Rome, the Jewish authorities, to get rid of him, will find nothing better than to advocate the interests of their conqueror. If there is a situation that applies the perfection of a favorite maxim of Machiavelli, the end justifies all means, this is where we find it!

Returning on three indictments brought against Jesus to see its validity:

1st act: this individual leads our nation to revolt.

Against whom or what? The religious hypocrisy, hardness of heart, the yoke of sin in the life: yes! In power, the legitimacy of the authority of Rome: not once! Jesus did he not allowed to rescue them, both Jewish and Roman, as the centurion whose faith He praised: Luke 7.9 !

2nd act: it prevents them from paying taxes to Caesar

Let the evangelists have lied, or Jews who heard Jesus have hearing problems! For it is quite the opposite that Jesus preached and practiced: Luke 20.20-26.

3rd act: he himself said Christ the King

We touch here only one aspect coming out of complete lies. Even if Jesus refused throughout his life, opportunities that were given him to be king: 4.5 to 6 Luc and Jean 6.15, the truth lies in that which accuses the council before Pilate. The kingdom to which Jesus is called is just not the same as that exerted by the potentates of this world. Jesus will not fail to make it known to Pilate, without denying the fact, that indeed is the true king of the Jews: John 18.33 to 38. Forced to condemn Jesus under pressure: Luke 23.13-25 , Pilate found by means of his revenge. To the great displeasure of the Jewish authorities, it will validate on the cross in three languages affirmation of kingship of Jesus on them, so that by looking at the crucified, that they will read their own condemnation: John 19 , 19 to 22 .

Despite the seriousness of the evidence adduced and the vehemence of the accusers, Pilate finds nothing criminal in the actions or positions taken by Jesus, who deserves to die. Having heard that Jesus comes from Galilee, he chose, convenient solution to get rid of the problem by sending Jesus Herod who, coincidentally, was also in Jerusalem at this time.

Desmume Pokemon Heart Gold Cheat

Chapter 22, Verses 63-71

Questioning of Jesus before the Sanhedrin

Having given his father so to drink the cup of suffering related to the atonement of sin and the work of salvation world, Jesus offered, from the moment he was taken prisoner, or resistance, or challenge him to abuse that were inflicted. Liability as the lamb to the slaughter: Isaiah 53.7, well the Son of God, Jesus leaves His guards unleashed The mowing of His dignity. Nor respect for his person, or recognition to the presumption of innocence that has any justifiable right not granted him. Before his trial, which must establish the cause of his condemnation, Jesus is treated as a usurper. The raw deal from him at this time only demonstrate what God keeps saying the natural man comes to himself, without fear of censure: a being capable of the worst violence and abjection free, contaminated in all parts of his being with evil: Rom 3.10-18 .

With the trial, we enter into what constitutes the heart of the offense with Jesus: His claim to come as Christ promised in Scripture, the Son of the living God! Summoned to justify this, Jesus does not answer affirmatively or negatively. While not denying anything, he left his judges to pronounce themselves on the verdict. The ambiguity of the responses of Jesus has nothing disturbing here. His entire life and all that He has practiced since his entry into the ministry after the baptism of John, is vividly demonstrated in He is. Its judges have so far not found sufficient evidence to recognize who He is, without finding to deny it, nothing can now do. Jesus will be condemned for daring to claim that He is the Son of God, that He really was! He will be sentenced without evidence can be brought from usurping nature of this assertion, the lingering doubt therefore the way into the head of His judges.

Besides the unique and arbitrary ruling here, how Jesus behaves is an example for us. It shows that where bad faith seat on the throne of justice, it is neither necessary nor useful to substantiate his defense. We just like Jesus said, to say what we will be before God. More than arguments, it is our hope and our assurance that the best advocate for us: see Acts 4.13 . Remember us in all circumstances: it is the only truth that is God's power!

Chapter 22, Verses 54-62 Chapter

Denial of Peter

Jesus arrested by the guards, the disciples, according the prophecy had been made centuries ago: Zach 13.7; Mat 26.31 , dispersed. Peter, however, could not bring himself to abandon Jesus there. Unable to follow him closely, as he had done until he began to follow him away, away, probably to see how things would turn out and what would happen to him.

In the process he followed, no doubt that Peter had wanted to stay hidden. He therefore made as unobtrusive as possible, trying to confuse the crowd of curious people who were there without being noticed. He could not long. Pierre could not erase the past, scratching his life three years of close public that had lived with Jesus. By binding to him as he had done, Peter identified himself in the eyes of all in Jesus. His name, his face, his whole person was known outside that relationship with Jesus. As he will be asked three times what he denies it, he is one of the disciples of Jesus.

be a disciple of Jesus inevitably means that we leave after us, around us, wherever we pass, indelible traces of our identification with Him. It may come moments in our life when, like Peter, we'd like to stay hidden, sitting there incognito in a crowd of mockers and enemies of Jesus, without her knowing who we are. We can not do long. Sooner or later comes the moment of truth when, forced, we must position ourselves to Jesus. What shall we say?

As Jesus had predicted Peter could not find enough strength within himself to remain faithful to Him. Three times before the cock crows, he denied knowing and having monitoring. Going further than Luke, Matthew thereby take God to witness against him and swear not to be bound by anything that man: Matt 26.71. Under pressure from men, and behind, Satan: Luke 22.31 , Peter's denial with regard to Jesus was not pronounced lip. It was, instead, live, total, an expression of strong views and who allowed no appeal.

We do not know from whom, when the eyes of Jesus and Peter crossed the pain was greatest. What is certain, however, is that the sadness Jesus was not the same as that of Peter. Jesus was not disappointed. He knew in advance which scenario Pierre was about to enter. The sadness of Jesus was for Peter, not for him. Peter's was to realize who he was, how he had been mistaken about himself.

Do not throw stones at Peter. None of us without the power of the Holy Spirit, is capable of better. How many times, even born-again, we do not cowardice, was ashamed of us view as disciples of Christ! Like Peter, when we should have talked, we were silent! Only and through the intercession of Christ will cause the bitter tears of Peter will lead to its restoration. No defeat, no betrayal, if followed by repentance, do we disqualify forever! God gives us today to find in Him the strength that we lack in ourselves to follow Him!

How To Decrease Shoe Crease?

22, verses 47 to 53

Arrest of Jesus

Jesus to the Father who gave his full approval to drink to the dregs the cup of His anger against sin, it is not now useful to wait longer. The Jesus Amen hardly mentioned, a troop of armed soldiers led by Judas, raided the place where He is with His disciples. The arrest of Jesus will lead, between Him and those present, has three significant types of confrontation:

first confrontation: Jesus and Judas

Jesus is the hypocrisy over the treachery which he demonstrated in the way he chose to tell the troops what He has to stop. No doubt, if Judas by his gesture sign the condemnation of Jesus, Jesus, by His remark, made the same thing for his old friend who betrayed him. The words spoken here by Jesus will never leave Judas, bewildered by the sudden realization of the horror of his actions, devoured by the worm of remorse irreparable, will find thereafter no alternative but suicide escape. Unfortunately for him, in vain!

Judas is the proof that even Satan has no friends. His accomplices are only temporary tools he uses for specific purposes, before being left to themselves and their own conviction. This is not Jesus who is here, by the treachery of Judas, an impasse. Is Judas! In the book, he does for his own misfortune, that doing what is written: Psalm 41.10, which was determined in advance so that Christ Jesus is the Savior of the world: Proceedings 2.23 .

second confrontation: Jesus and the disciples

what was about to happen, the disciples remained faithful responded. No way for them to leave without putting up minimal resistance. Without waiting for Jesus' instructions on what to do, one of them, whom John identifies as Pierre: Jean 18.10 , seized the sword to cut the ear of a servant of the high priest. He received in return that the disapproval of the Master who, fixing his mistake and giving once again demonstrated that he was healed at that very instant the ear of the wounded victim of the wrath of Peter.

The figure of Jesus at this very moment is significant. It is obvious that if he had been retained by those who, subsequently, appealed to him, the whole history of the world was changed. Never, under any circumstances, for any reason, it is justifiable that a single drop of blood being shed in defense of the cause of Christ. Whoever believes in taking the sword to defend a legitimate interest of Christ, is totally misguided. Because Christ, in His nature is different from all and above all, the weapons of His servants should fight for him in any way be a replica of those used by his enemies. Use the same weapons as them, is incurring the same way they do, His disapproval. "When you fight against a bad opponent with the same weapons, the same means that it is necessarily to identify him. The fair question is inevitably corrupted by evil means: Jacques Ellul "

third confrontation: Jesus and the religious leaders

Jesus is against them the hypocrisy of their behavior and, this time, the shadowy nature of their actions. Every day, in fact, Jesus was, if they wanted, they thank you. Ever, on any occasion, it has sought to flee or to hide them to act as they do against him, against them from behind or on the sly. One last time, if they want to hear it, the fact that Jesus was, permanently, in the light is compelling evidence that it is in God and God alone that He lives: John 3.20 -21 . In contrast, the attitude of the chiefs, came by night and secretly take Jesus, demonstrates one thing: what inspires them is not the God of light, but the power of darkness!

All facts and words recorded here by Luke in the arrest of Jesus reflect a single reality: only culprits in this case are those around him: Judas, by his treachery and perfidy, the disciples, by their bad reaction, the Heads of their cowardice. Only one is correct: He is. Throughout the rest of the story until the resurrection is not going to confirm this fact!

Bionicle Vezon Kardas

Chapter 22, Verses 39-46

Jesus Prayer on the Mount of Olives

is the place where He used to go to be away on the Mount of Olives, Jesus felt the need before facing the ordeal that lay before him, retired with His disciples. We all need, like Jesus, for specific locations that are our places of refuge, even decline, in which we can withdraw to live time from heart to heart with God: see Mat 6.6. Blessings in peacetime, these places become, in the moment of trial, places the ultimate resource, the latest we will leave for after meeting God and finding Him in the provision of power that we are required to face the test comes.

The narratives of Matthew and Mark differ somewhat from that of Luke in the details of what is lived here. Major return, however, several constants in the stories:

1. If Jesus came to the Mount of Olives, was for a time of intense communion with His Father in prayer. If Matthew and Mark focus on the return of Jesus to His disciples asleep, what caught the attention of Luke is the intensity with which Jesus prays here. It is the only witness to the mental suffering was acute in which Jesus, suffering which resulted in an unusual phenomenon : The transformation of his sweat drops of blood dripping from his face and fell to the ground. If he is right on the historical (the reference is missing in many ancient manuscripts), this indicates that the battle was one of Jesus at that time fighting that one feels also in other writings. Although present in all His life, Jesus' resistance against the temptation of sin, resignation and the selection here is the easy path to its summit, a resistance which goes to the blood: Heb 5.8, 12.3 -4 .

If Jesus suffered in the fight he led in the wilderness at the beginning His ministry, against the devil, it appears that the fight the more difficult it has to support is that of his will against that of His Father. We sometimes think our greatest battles are those that we know with regard to the sin of the world or the devil. It is not! "Our toughest battles, Ronald Dunn demonstrates, we oppose to God! . This is the lesson that had to learn in his time Jacob: Genesis 32.23 to 33. This is the experience that Jesus knew here. This will also enter into the reality that our lives!

2. If Jesus came to the Mount of Olives with His disciples that He wanted their companionship and support for this difficult time that was before Him. There are things that, like Jesus here, we must face alone. However, if we are brothers and that we belong to a true community, we should not live alone. Even if others will not be with us in the most difficult time, we lived in the moments that precede it, the reality of their support.

Jesus has not had that joy. Is this the reason that the missing men, God sends an angel to strengthen him? Possible! Experience Jesus lived here carries two lessons, essential to remember for every servant of God. The first is that loneliness is often part of him who is called to high destinies on the spiritual plane, including the high destinies as the requirement of a great sacrifice to accomplish the plan God has in mind for him. The second is that if the companions are rare on this path, God, He will not fail!

3. The experience of Jesus on the Mount of Olives is the demonstration of the correctness of His words to Peter about his disability, and the other disciples to be faithful to Him end. It is the prelude to the script written and foretold by Jesus to them, namely their abandonment at all.

How are painful, yet necessary, the lessons of truth that we teach and the school life of suffering upon ourselves. We can not follow Jesus, or carry with him a spiritual battle in our own strength. We need to learn it, not once but multiple times. That the experience of that day helps me better appreciate the price You paid for my salvation and the need to be close in Ta, O Lord, to exit winner of the struggles related to my testimony in this world!

Blood From Throat When Brushing Toung

Chapter 22, Verses 35-38

The award, the bag and sword

Totally lived since his entry into Jerusalem, by the prospect of his impending death, Jesus, who knows that his arrest is no longer a matter of hours, expressed here, once more, His concern for His people. For if it puts an end to homelessness His ministry, Jesus' arrest is in itself another consequence. It also means disciples the end of an era. Jesus invites them to take stock and to testify, to account for themselves about their experiences with him during those three years that few, abandoning any security, any activity to keep them alive, they made the follow. Have they missed something? Their faith in him, in response to His call to follow him, she has been a disappointment? The answer is unanimous: Jesus has always been, as a Master at all times in all circumstances, at the height of his responsibility!

If up This the disciples were able to accompany their Master, Jesus wants them to know: He is now only going to take the path that lies before him. Peter had protested in vain to the contrary: the time of separation (temporary) is coming. One can, as friends of Jesus, follow him in many of His works and His commitments. However there is one area in which we find besides Him no trace of man. This is the moment where, as High Priest, Jesus enters the holy place to once and for all by the sacrifice of His own life, to cleanse the sins of the world: Hebrews 8,7.11-12 . But this time, this time for which Jesus came, came: John 12.23 to 24.

Deprived of Jesus, they must be aware of the disciples of a sudden lose all the benefits inherent in His presence. In a privileged situation, they switch from one moment to another in one where the common man without Jesus. Jesus loses, they lose one who was the guarantor of their lives in three areas:

- the field of scholarship: they must now find themselves the resources for their own need.

- the area's shopping bag: while they lived in provisions of the grace of God, enough! They themselves must ensure they have enough for tomorrow.

- the domain of the sword: Jesus party, the protection of their lives is not otherwise provided by their own means of defense.

Servants of God, who live full time in many years in the service of Jesus, we realize how His faithfulness is the sole cause of our quality of life! Years-decades pass and another: the faithfulness of Jesus remains! With the disciples of the first hour, we can not, in respect of Jesus, make the same testimony: Jesus, You were and you're always up! We want for nothing! You're the one who provides for our basic needs more safely than could be the security offered a good job or the human defense weapons more sophisticated. You reveal yourself to those who are in Thy service, best employer, one who shows himself more concerned with the satisfaction Look in their basic needs. May honor and glory for you are made testimony that secular loyalty, as Master, You have shown to all your workers!

Chapter 22, Verses 31-34

Jesus announces the future denial of Peter

If there is a disciple of the twelve was well placed to be regarded as the greatest, it was stone. Was not he who had first confessed to recognize more than a prophet Jesus, the Son of the living God: Mat 16.16 ? Was he not, with Jacques and John, whom the Lord had he chose to attend privately to His transfiguration: Luke 9.28 to 36, 2 Pier 1.16 to 18? Was not he also the one to whom Jesus entrusted the keys to all future believers, Jew or pagan, to enter into the Kingdom: Mat 16.19; Acts 2 and 10? A simple reading of the Gospels and the early chapters of the book of Acts is enough to validate: the group of relatives of Jesus, Peter is, as estimated by the human thing, the greatest!

Perhaps because in his heart thought Peter, Jesus spoke unto him privately to tell him what soon would happen. A terrible spiritual battle would take place. The challenge, the target of this battle, initiated by the devil, was accurate. It was not Jesus (Satan had already realized that he had lost to him), but His followers. The objective revealed attacks by Satan joined in every one that the prophecy of the Apocalypse reveals: Rev. 12.17. Since he can reach the head, it attacks the body since it can kill the mother, he blames his offspring. In this test that will come, Jesus announced: no one will, Peter, the faithful among the faithful, including.

the same way as it was the announcement by Jesus of His betrayal by one of the twelve, Peter was shocked, shocked! How can Jesus say such a thing? He not only knows how He was attached Pierre? Jesus knows what is what Peter does not know yet! This is how the human heart can deceive and delude himself on his ability to implement his good intentions. Jesus makes Peter sensitive time before of his denial, when, in Gethsemane, he should have with him, watch and pray instead of sleeping: 26.40 Mat. For now though, Peter could conceive. He protests, protests, denies! He is sure: He never abandon Jesus. He is ready not only to be thrown in jail, but to die, if necessary, for Him and with Him.

As for Satan is with respect to the view that it is men: Job 1.10, 2.6 , most so-called certainty that they have to prove themselves, the filter test, false, deceptive, illusory. No, the man has no power, alone, to stand. Although he thinks, which is the backbone of his natural will is too weak to pay with his life for his attachment to truth. Jesus, in passing, mentions Peter only cause which he should, in this case, not have totally collapsed: His prayer for him and his friends. It is the faithfulness of Jesus alone that we His disciples must not deny Him and total abandonment! Believe it right! If it were up to strength of our resolutions, Satan would have no trouble making us renegades and apostates!

Top Rated Of Rashel Stele

Chapter 22, Verses 24-30

Concern off-topic

Although in earnings teachings and spiritual knowledge capable of bringing in the understanding of thought and Person of God, the human heart does not change. Proof is in the episode recounted here, where, when Jesus is preparing to live, suffer the humiliation that will lead to the cross, the only question that seems to preoccupy the disciples is who among them can be regarded as the greatest. This concern is all the more surprising that a few moments ago, the disciples wondered and watched each other to discern who among them could be the traitor who would deliver the master to his judges. The human heart is not a contradiction. It is so unreliable that a sentence to another, it can show two entirely opposite attitudes, without it bothers him at all. Without the Holy Spirit, the heart of man, Scripture says, is tortuous and incurable Jer 17.9 . Only under his direction our lives can actually find unity and coherence.

Since this is the concern of the disciples, Jesus, instead of sentencing, will respond. There are two ways to take action on concerns in the lives of displaced children of God: either the snub, which serves no purpose, either by converting their bad bounce on reflection beneficial lesson for the future. It happens that Jesus rebuffed, but he will always follow the reproach of a didactic manner. Learn from him!

The purpose Discussion of the disciples on the greatness, Jesus took the opportunity given to Him to share His understanding of this notion: understanding the opposite of what the world understands by this name. If there is someone who is able to speak on the subject is Jesus. For who among the disciples, can boast of having the same origin, the same dignity, the same powers as him? By far, in every respect, Jesus is the One who transcends. However, referring to the greatness that is in any of those things that Jesus will build to give the definition. True greatness is not that which is to show what we are able to raise us, but to lower ourselves to the service! Contrary to how great of this world are considering the true greatness is not seen as being used by others, but in being able to serve them! It is not the extent of authority and power that are shown, but in deeds and works that the love that inspires us is capable of generating in us! If the disciples want to compete against each other, not upwards, but downwards they should look. The biggest among them is one who can to exercise the utmost humility: humility, not a feint, but the outcome of a just self-knowledge combined with experience of grace which seeth in service to others a great opportunity to practice the love reply Free to love from God. Is great one who loved God responds by serving others with love!
The disciples are concerned about the weight of personal glory, which rests on everyone, Jesus will also respond. Already in the past, Jesus had addressed this topic: Luke 18.28-30, suggesting they did not have to worry about it, God can not be ungrateful to those who demonstrate by their actions their commitment to His Person. He confirmed here again. What the disciples did not care about the glory reserved for them! It will be the same for everyone! They are all sitting at the table with Him in His kingdom. With him, they will sit on thrones as judges of the twelve tribes of Israel!

With the first on the question of greatness, we must also hear this teaching on the glory. Because, too often, it inhabits thought of the servants of God who, like the disciples, engage in a game of comparison and competition harmful. God looks neither to the power of influence we have, or the popularity of our ministry to judge the value. What He wants from us is that we be faithful in service opportunities that He puts before us! For the rest, it is he alone that decisions honorary against us coming back. Whether the concerns are those of God for us who live, and not those off-topic, linked to the flattery of our ego.

Mineral Water Good For Upset Stomach?

Chapter 22, Verses 21-23

Revelation the betrayal of Judas

Aside from the scope of the symbol it is, the Last Supper that Jesus is with His apostles is also a busy time of seriousness and truth. Jesus took the opportunity to make the twelve He chose a double revelation:

1. The first is that this is the last meal of fellowship that He is with them. It's in God's kingdom only be repeated next time now. The institution of the Eucharist by Jesus announced the imminent realization of the truths it illustrates. The death of Jesus, the gift of His life in sacrifice for sin, is only a matter of hours.

2. the second is that it's within the group among whom it happens, one that leaves the book to His enemies. Listening to the words of Jesus about the traitor, we do not feel any hatred from Him. The sentiment behind it is rather sad and spite for him. If He will die by the effect of his treachery, Jesus said the most unfortunate of them is not him, but he who denies the. Jesus' death will be a moment of extreme pain, immeasurable. It result, however, by the power of God, a joy unspeakable and a victory. The profit, cons, the one who denies the will void. Not only does he enjoy anything in what it has done this act of treason, but his gesture opens the doors of eternal misery! How terrible it is, tell the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, to fall into the hands of the living God: Heb 10.31.

A big internal debate in the form of inquiry will, in the eyes of Jesus, following the latest revelation that He has done. One can imagine the mood in which it occurred, each seeking the depths of his memory index that will track the culprit.

While we get together around Jesus to take the Supper, we would like to think that this moment is for everyone and the whole Church, where he is best expressed our common worship Lord. Paul reminds us that this moment must above all be an opportunity for us to truth, a moment where each one examine himself before God and be judged: 1 Cor 11.23 to 31. For if, like Judas, we can do well, God knows our hearts. He knows exactly what is there. And if we do believe not ourselves, that his trial that we run. God will not endure, because we add to the lie that we live in hypocrisy and dissimulation. God gives us in all circumstances, and even more when we take the sacrament, testament to our willingness to be in communion with him saw the light: 1 John 1.6 to 7, to be real men !

First Death Anniversaryinvitation

Chapter 22, Verses 14-20

Institution of the Supper

After repeatedly announced to the apostles that up to Jerusalem, there was going to be delivered to the Gentiles, to suffer and be killed, it is time for Jesus to serve a concrete meaning and spiritual significance of the sacrifice that was to be His. If it has in itself no virtue, a sign appears in the Scriptures as being from God, the means by which it illustrates the truth is both explained and assimilated by the person who participates: the Passover, circumcision, baptism, the Last Supper. Participation in the sign is a way God wanted it to seal in a practical, committed membership of the person to reality it covers. It is a position which we owe to God, being God, by the sign, the one who calls us to join the alliance that it expresses.

The new covenant that God initiates, through Jesus Christ with all people through the latter's death, it was necessary that the sign that represents it illustrates the sacrifice made by the Lord to make operative. The sign set up here, the broken bread in remembrance of the Lord's body broken for our sin, the blood shed in His death reminder of their need for atonement, and reminded us that, more than the Lord's life, His miracles, His speeches and all the other signs that he has demonstrated throughout His pilgrimage to prove His Messiahship, His death on the cross, followed by His resurrection, is and remains for all time the culmination of his work and the first that we have to let the world know about Him: 1 Cor 2.2; 15.1-4 .

One thing which every day we have to testify and that, as Christians, we must remember is that Jesus, the Son of God, died for our sins and that, through His broken body and shed blood, God made a covenant with us! Jesus reminds clearly in the few words he said to explain the symbolism of the meal that he takes with His people: to you is that my body is broken and my bloodshed, and for you to remember that a permanent J establishing it now this meal: 1 Cor 11.23-26 . Whether it is fundamental to the gospel every day and remains the heart of our faith!

Linsey Dawn Mckenzie Story

Chapter 22, Verses 7-13

Preparations for the Passover

As it was to find the colt that he had to climb to get to Jerusalem: Luke 19.29-31 Jesus knew exactly where to go and who to contact to find the place where He would be the Passover with His disciples. Peter and John are sent for this purpose. Their mission is not to find on their own premises which would suit what the Lord had to do but move into what was already prepared and, somehow, to appropriate it for to serve the purpose for which the Lord had intended.

Sometimes, indeed, that the missions that the Lord entrusts to us does not go as easily. The accuracy of details given here as the arrangement of things we do not always appear so obviously. But what is certain is that the basic mission remains the same. It is not in the mind of God sent His whatsoever which is itself the means to accomplish his mission. The Envoy enters a work that God Himself has prepared: Ephesians 2.10. He can count, as was the case here, on specific instructions from God, he will receive guidance by the Holy Spirit and he will be confirmed by the facts. The mission is the mission of God, not ours, we are only assistants, workers who work with him, not for Him : 1 Cor 3.9.

Another point already noted during the episode of the mission given to two disciples to find the colt, God knows where, everywhere, are friends and support that he needs in time for the work He entrusts to us. We do not know, but God willing their hearts so that they are prepared to make him in time, the service rendered. The means of God go far beyond what we can estimate. In his despondency, Elijah thought to have remained alone in fearing the Lord. He will respond with him, there were still 7000 in Israel: 1 Kings 19.18 .

God gives us, for the missions he entrusts to us today, to act with full rest than by faith in His omnipotence and sovereignty!

Xbox Vision Cam On Oovoo

Chapter 22, Verses 1-6

Agreement evil

If the death of Jesus appears on a human level, be the result of the arrangement of forces hostile to it is, Scripture says, at the hour chosen by God and given His Son to give his life for the hello world: cp Luke 22.53, John 12.23 . It was at the Passover celebration for Jews to commemorate their liberation from Egypt under Moses through the sacrifice of the lamb, Jesus had to die. Also, many players in this death is in the timing of God that Satan and Jesus' human opponents act, to accomplish what God has stopped ahead: Proceedings 2.23. Moreover, Paul says, if such had been their vision, whether by killing the Son of God, they understood that it was they were signing their own defeat, the leaders of this century, and Satan with them, would not have crucified 1 Cor 2.6 to 9 .

If there is an amazing thing, this is the motley trio formed here to foment a plot that should lead to the death of Jesus. Let us judge for yourself! We find:

- the religious leaders of the nation scribes responsible for teaching the word: Mat 23.1 and high priests, officer in charge of the worship and present offerings and sacrifices to God for forgiveness of the people.

- Judas Iscariot, the disciple renegade much more interested in material gain he could find in following Jesus as the spiritual benefits: Jean 12.6 .

- Satan, enemy of God since his fall

If one expects in a conspiracy against the Son of God, to find the last member of the trio, the fact that it can make two other accomplices he needs to achieve his goal is not without question. This statement only confirms some radical words spoken before by Jesus: Luke 11.23; 16.23 Mat. With regard to Jesus, we can only be in two postures, and that, whatever the status or function of which, moreover, may be asserted in the eyes of men, either with Him or against Him! But being with him is to be with God against Him be n can only lead to being an accomplice of Satan in the rebellion that drives secular since the beginning.

Let each of us clearly know whose side he is! The issue is crucial!

Chapter 21, verses 37 and 38

The timetable of Jesus

Before turning to the chapter which introduces the events that will lead to the arrest and trial of Jesus, Luke tells us about what, in the last weeks of his life, occupied his time. The program of Jesus was divided into two equal periods to content:

1st period: day

now installed in Jerusalem, Jesus, Luke says, his time spent in the temple to teach everyone that many, came to listen. More than just physical space, Jesus s'accaparait fully and unashamedly spiritual field. In Jerusalem, the temple, home of God, He was, as Lord, with Him and never hesitated to show it. Low extraction plant humble and modest, Jesus ends here, in human terms, the route that was hers by bringing it to its full conclusion. Because it not only as man and prophet that He will be dismissed, but according to what the prophet Malachi announced as the Lord of this covenant in His temple: Evil 3.1 .

2nd period: night

If Jesus spent the day in the temple, it was night on the Mount of Olives. At the time of sleep, there is no doubt that Jesus added, as he was accustomed, times of prayer: Luke 6.12. There, one evening, Judas, knowing that usually lead the troops of soldiers sent by the religious leaders to stop: Luke 22.47. Although aware of the danger that awaits him, Jesus does not look like dictators who often feel threatened, to evade it by constantly changing the places where he spends his nights. His refuge is in God, why and how could he escape: Psalm 11.1.

Message In A Christening Card

Chapter 21, Verses 28-36

V 28-36: Preparation:

Contrary to the way in which we act sometimes, it becomes clear that the purpose of revealing Jesus to His disciples what will happen in the future is not to satisfy their curiosity or to awaken in them a taste for speculation. Knowledge of the prophecies related to contemporary and future historical facts which will mark the path of the disciples to His return should result in them two types of attitude:

first attitude : Expectation of redemption marked by the encouragement that communicates the certainty of hope. If the beginning of the fulfillment of the warning signs of the coming glory of the Lord will be an anguish of growing up in the world is the opposite effect that will occur in the heart of the disciples. Like the buds on the fig trees, heralding the arrival of summer near, the beginning of the realization of the signs mentioned by the Lord to the disciples is a message that has value of joy: the long awaited time, the time of issue promised has arrived!

Note that if some signs related to the time of the coming glory of the Lord still belong to the future, it will, according to Jesus' words, less than a generation to happen the capture of Jerusalem by Roman armies led by Titus , conquest leading to the destruction of the temple and the exile of the Jews in all nations of the world. The completion of the sign given by Jesus in the prescribed period shall pledge, as Jesus says here, reliability in achieving all of His words for the future!

second attitude: an attitude of vigilance marked by the discipline of sobriety against the pleasures of the flesh and faith practice with respect to the key concerns of life. Expected to leave this world for the kingdom of God, the Christian is called, unlike Lot's wife to keep her heart as free as possible of any ties that would tie to the land. Vigilance and prayer, as Jesus in Gethsemane recall, are the only slogans that fit: Matthew 26.41.

If at the end of this chapter, we have some doubt and uncertainty about the full identification of the era in which Jesus refers these signs, believe that there is a deliberate attempt to God. God's purpose is clear: He wants at any time we stood ready. For if the Lord's day surprise the world as a thief in the night, so should not be the case with the disciples. The return of Jesus, His coming in glory in His kingdom should be called the expectation conditioned at every moment our behavior. The prospect of Your coming, Lord, be the element that now guides all my actions and my thoughts!
